God is With Us

The mystery of God's entrance into this world,
into our lives....
incomprehensible....
unacceptable.....

The Greeks had a dim view and a vague hope
that it might be true.

The Roman gods ruled from afar,
but watched for offense and neglect of duty.

But we, daily, celebrate and acknowledge His Presence,
relying on it to get us through the day.
